You can find some global events already on your calendar, like this:

To turn these global events off, or to create your own custom events, click the ‘Manage event’s button above your calendar.
How do i plan upcoming promotional events
Simply add an event title, a reference colour and date.
The ‘date range’ option will allow you to set a start and end date for your events, and the ‘recurring yearly’ option allows you to set this event to auto-run annually.
