GDPR has now settled in, and the flood of emails have started to slip back through. The fear of being sued seems to have passed and people are now sending at a rate they did before.

At some point, there has to be a global spam law that will prohibit spam of any nature, a uniform standard across the world that will eliminate unsolicited email altogether. This will probably also apply to B2B who currently use the ‘legitimate interest’ clause to continue to market their business.
