Since establishing in 2007, Bodyism has gained a reputation as one of the most exclusive wellness companies in the world. As well as offering supplements, clothing and best-selling books. Bodyism offers bespoke, state of the art gym facilities in Capri, London, Maldives and Turkey.

The challenge

Bodyism had done little to nothing with regards to their email marketing. They had a mailing list which had been gathered from previous events, website sign-ups etc. But not a lot had been done to utilise this due to a lack of time and resources. Our goal was to start sending more frequent email campaigns, delivering interesting and engaging content to their subscribers.

The solution

With almost every managed service we begin by creating a brand new email template. In this case, we made two. One was a newsletter template that was mainly based around engagement; this involved keeping subscribers up to date with the latest Bodyism events and blog posts. The second was more of a sales based template that revolved around some of their fantastic products.

The results

After the templates were finalised, we began sending A/B split test campaigns on a weekly basis, gradually cleaning the subscriber data and improving list segmentation for future campaigns. Since then, Bodyism’s email campaigns have seen a large increase in results with open rates soaring to around 20% higher than the industry average.
