Skogstad are a small but desirable outdoor clothing company, selling online and in retail outlets and concessions across the UK.

The challenge.

Skogstad were looking for a partner that could review and profile their average customer to align their message, and have the ability to respond to changes whilst working to tight deadlines. The overall aim would be to increase customer engagement levels by meeting a specific criteria: this included a regular email campaign, integration with their CRM and back-office e-commerce system, as well as a clear tracking plan of results and trend analysis.

The solution.

Our approach was to create engaging visual emails designed to attract their target customers by way of ‘selling’ their brand message of quality and ethics, rather than placing emphasis upon price or special discounts.

To do this, we designed effective and engaging content by using key imagery and influential language to target customer base. The aim was to showcase brand identity and ethics in a clear and concise way, as well as demonstrating Skogstad’s USP and diverse product ranges. These product ranges would be delivered in the form of a weekly visual campaign, each focusing on a single product range.

We also designed and built a template that was mobile responsive, as up to 75% of their readers read on mobile devices. This would be essential to audience engagement.
We could then map the success of targeted campaigns by providing detailed analytics (opens, clicks etc) as well as evaluating ongoing trends and engagement.

The results.

Through the outcome of a data review, we were able to achieve great results on behalf of our client. This campaign resulted in a 52.8% open rate and 23.8% click rate- industry averages are just 16.2% and 2.3% respectively.
